As I was preparing for our little guy to arrive, I wanted to make sure I took care of as many things as I could think of. I figured my sleep wasn’t going to be routine and so my ability to stay on top of things might not be what I’m used to. One of these genius ahead-of-time ideas I had was to buy a few greeting cards for those summer birthdays and anniversaries. While I was looking for these, I also thought of sticking in some thank you cards since I knew we were going to get some help and a blank card for whatever came up!!

There are so, so many things that scream summer, but if there’s a top contender (well, two), I think it’s corn on the cob and watermelon. If we throw all conventions out the window, I can honestly say that a meal of grilled corn and a bowl of cut up watermelon would make me one happy camper.
